Location

History

Urusanmachi opened on 20 June 1929 as a Kumamoto City tram stop, was abolished at an unrecorded date, reopened in May 1948 as Urusanmachi Gokoku-jinja-mae Station (蔚山町護国神社前駅), and was renamed Urusanmachi between 1961 and 1962. It is numbered B6 on the Kami-Kumamoto Line.

Notes

In the Korean-language stop names used in Kumamoto City Tram guidance and route maps, this stop is written 울산마치 (Ulsanmachi), reading the 蔚山 element with its Sino-Korean pronunciation, rather than 우루산마치 (Urusanmachi), a direct hangul transcription of the Japanese pronunciation.
