History
Miya-no-mae Station (SA 10) is a Toden Arakawa Line tram stop in Nishi-Ogu 2-chōme, Arakawa-ku, Tokyo. It opened on 1 April 1913 when the Ōji Electric Tramway opened its section between Mi-no-wa (now Mi-no-wabashi) and Asukayama-shita (now Kajiwara), became part of the Tokyo City Tramway on 1 February 1942 when the Ōji Electric Tramway was sold to Tokyo City, and joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Tramway (Toden) on 1 July 1943. On 18 October 2003 it was moved 50 m toward Mi-no-wabashi for a road-widening project.
Notes
Miya-no-mae is the only stop on the Toden Arakawa Line where both the inbound and outbound platforms stand on the roadway; they now sit between the carriageway and the track bed.
