Location
History
Komuro Station opened on 8 March 1979 in the city of Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, on the Hokusō Line, operated by the third-sector Hokusō Railway. The station sits 19.8 km from the line's terminus at Keisei-Takasago and serves the Chiba New Town development. The layout consists of one ground-level island platform and one side platform serving three tracks, with the station building constructed above. Station numbering was introduced on 17 July 2010, with Komuro designated HS11.
Notes
Funabashi City's Komuro Public Hall stands among the facilities near the station, which in fiscal 2018 was used by an average of 3,984 passengers a day.
