Location

History

Kōen-Kami Station opened on 1 December 1921 with the inauguration of the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line; its name refers to its position above Gōra Park. Operation passed to Odakyu Hakone on 1 April 2024 as part of an Odakyu Group restructure of its Hakone businesses. The unattended station has opposed side platforms either side of the single funicular track, 0.48 km from the Gōra terminus.

Notes

Bus stop just outside is named for the adjacent Hakone Museum of Art (Hakone Bijutsukan) rather than the station itself.
