Location

History

Imba-Nihon-Idai Station opened on 22 July 2000 in the city of Inzai, Chiba, as a junction station jointly operated by the third-sector Hokusō Railway and the private Keisei Electric Railway. The station serves as a terminus of the Hokusō Line, located 32.3 km from the opposing terminus at Keisei-Takasago, and is also served by the Narita Sky Access, the through-running service linking central Tokyo with Narita Airport that shares the Hokusō Line tracks. Station numbering was introduced to the Hokusō Line on 17 July 2010, with the station designated HS14.

Notes

The station stands close to the Nippon Medical School's Chiba Hokusō Hospital — the "Nihon-idai" of its name — and to Juntendo University's Sakura campus.
