History

Ayagawa Station, opened on 15 December 2013, is a station of the Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad's Kotohira Line, station number K14. It is the newest Kotoden station within Ayagawa Town, and because it is very close to the adjacent Aeon Mall Ayagawa, it carries the subsidiary name "(Aeon Mall Ayagawa)." It became a staffed station on 15 December 2023. It has one side platform and one track, equipped with an IruCa simplified ticket gate, an automatic ticket machine, and an LED departure indicator. Around the station, Ayagawa Town has developed a town road connecting to the national and prefectural highways, a roundabout, and a bicycle parking area. It is located in Kayahara, Ayagawa-chō, Ayauta District, Kagawa Prefecture.
