History
Yudamura Station opened on 21 July 1914 as the Yudamura Stop on the privately built Ryōbi Light Railway, the predecessor of the Fukuen Line. It was upgraded to a full passenger station on 1 September 1933, at the same time as the line was nationalised. With the privatisation of the Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987 it came under the control of JR West. The station has a single side platform serving one bi-directional track; it long had no station building, with passengers stepping straight onto the platform, until in 2024 the platform roof and benches were removed and a simple station building was put up at the foot of the platform. The station is unstaffed.
