Location
History
Yashiro-dōri Station opened on 20 February 1908, when the Kōnai–Edagawa section completed the Ino Line through to Ino. At an unknown later date the boarding facility was moved west, the original location becoming a no-boarding passing place known as the Yashiro passing place, commonly called the Yashiro signal station. The signal facility was moved again in 2014, to a position between this stop and Nakayama to the west. The stop passed to Tosaden Kōtsū on 1 October 2014 with the operator merger, and on 21 December 2017 the stop was moved to the north as part of a Tenjingayagawa river-improvement project.
Notes
The original site of the stop became the Yashiro passing place — commonly called the Yashiro signal station — after the boarding facility was moved west, giving a crossing point on what is otherwise a single-track stretch of the Ino Line running out to Ino. The signal facility was moved again in 2014, to a position between the stop and Nakayama to the west.
