History
Nakayama Station is a Tosaden Kotsu tram stop on the Ino Line in Ino, Agawa District, Kōchi Prefecture. It opened on 20 February 1908 as a Tosa Electric Railway stop when this section of the line was built, and is reported to have briefly carried the name Nakayama-dōri before service was suspended on 16 January 1943; reopening was approved on 22 February 1949. Tosaden Kotsu has run the stop since the 1 October 2014 merger of Tosa Electric Railway with Kōchi Prefectural Transportation and Tosaden Dream Service. Two platforms face each other diagonally across the single east-west track, the east side serving Ino-bound trams and the west side Harimayabashi-bound trams, amid what is now a residential area.
Notes
The Ino-bound platform, on the east side of the track, is marked only by a white line painted on the road surface.
