Location

History

Ueda Station is an underground station in 3-chōme, Ueda, Tenpaku-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, which opened on 1 October 1978 as a station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Tsurumai Line. It carries station number T17, has two opposed platforms serving two tracks, and has three exits. Accessibility work was completed around 2007, bringing elevators into service. It falls under the Tsurumai Line station office's Yagoto district station, and on manaca usage records the station name is displayed and printed as "Shichi Ueda." The Ueda Bus Terminal and Ueda shopping district spread out around the station, which functions as a regional hub for the southern part of Tenpaku-ku.

Notes

When the station name is recorded on manaca usage history, it is abbreviated and displayed and printed as "Shichi Ueda" rather than "Ueda Station."
