History
Tanagata Station is located in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, on the Nishi-Kyūshū Line, which has been operated by the third-sector Matsuura Railway since 1988. It consists of a single ground-level side platform serving a bi-directional track, and is 78.3 km from the line's starting point at Arita.
