History
Takojizō Station opened on 1 April 1914 between Kishiwada and Kaizuka on the Nankai Railway. A west-side station building was completed in 1925. Wartime consolidation transferred the station to Kintetsu on 1 June 1944, and a 1947 line transfer returned it to Nankai. Station numbering NK25 was introduced on 1 April 2012. On 29 June 2022 the 1925 west building was added to Japan's national register of tangible cultural properties. The station has two side platforms whose fare gates are entirely independent, so passengers cannot pass between the platforms without leaving the station.
Notes
The 1925 west-side station building was added to Japan's register of tangible cultural properties on 29 June 2022.
