Location

History

Takeshiba Station opened on 1 November 1995 on the elevated Yurikamome Line, an automated guideway transit system serving the Tokyo Bay waterfront. Numbered U-03, it stands in Minato Ward, 1.6 kilometres from the line's starting point at Shimbashi. The station is the only one on the entire Yurikamome route built with two opposed side platforms; every other Yurikamome station uses one or two island platforms. It is operated by Yurikamome, Inc.

Notes

Among all Yurikamome stops, Takeshiba is the only one whose elevated platform layout is a pair of side platforms rather than an island platform.
