History

Tadaoka Station opened on 11 July 1925 in what is now the town of Tadaoka, Osaka Prefecture, and is operated by the private Nankai Electric Railway. It is served by the Nankai Main Line and carries the station number NK21, located 22.3 km from the Nanba terminus. The station consists of two opposed side platforms that are independent of each other; passengers wishing to change platforms must exit and re-enter through the ticket gates. In fiscal 2019 the station handled an average of 9,346 passengers daily.

Notes

The station's two side platforms are independent, requiring passengers to leave the fare zone in order to switch directions.
