Location

History

Okada opened on 15 March 1927 as a station on the original Kotohira Electric Railway, and became a Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad (Kotoden) Kotohira Line station through the 1 November 1943 wartime merger. On 20 April 1991, when the original Leoma World amusement park opened, the station was relocated 236 m from its earlier site on the Kotoden-Kotohira side. The old station, like the present one, had an island platform with two tracks.

Notes

A dedicated shuttle bus once ran from Okada Station to New Leoma World; the service has been suspended since 1 September 2006.
