History
Nishi-Hazu Station opened on 24 July 1936 on what is now Meitetsu's Gamagōri Line. Freight handling ended in fiscal 1964 and the station was unstaffed from 1 June 1998. Until 28 January 2005 it was a stop for limited-express and express trains. The original station building survived until October 2021, when it was demolished; a small waiting shelter took its place in March 2024. Manaca cards are not accepted here.
Notes
The historic station building stood until October 2021, and on 10 October that year, ahead of its demolition, the city of Nishio held a "thank you to the station building" farewell event.
