Location
History
Nagato-Nagasawa Station opened on 25 November 1915 as a temporary stop on the Onoda Railway in what is now Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It was elevated to a full station on 1 May 1943, the same year the Onoda Railway was nationalised. JNR privatisation on 1 April 1987 transferred operations to JR West. The unstaffed halt now consists of one side platform serving a single bi-directional track, 3.2 km from Inō and 5.0 km from the terminus at Ube-Shinkawa.
