• Namboku Line: Jieitai-Mae

Makomanai Station opened on 16 December 1971 as the southern terminus of the newly built Namboku Line of the Sapporo Municipal Subway, which then ran north to Kita-Nijūyojō Station. The station, located in Minami-ku, carries the station number N16 and remains the line's south terminus, serving the Sapporo Salmon Museum, the Makomanai Open Stadium and the surrounding Makomanai Park complex.
