History

Kotsuka Station opened on 1 April 1988 when the Nakamura Line was converted to the third-sector Tosa Kuroshio Railway. From 13 March 2010, to improve convenience for commuting students, one up-direction limited express began stopping there in the evening; on 14 March 2020 the limited express "Ashizuri" stopping there was changed from No. 14 to No. 16. With the timetable revision of 16 March 2024, reduced limited express service on the Nakamura Line eliminated "Ashizuri 16," and the evening up-direction limited express stop was also discontinued.

Notes

Kotsuka Station is an unstaffed ground-level station with one side platform and one track; there is no station building, but a waiting room is provided. Its station number is TK39.
