Kōnu Station opened on 15 November 1935 and is located in Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture. It is served by the JR West Fukuen Line and lies 54.7 rail kilometres from the terminus of the line. Operation passed from the Japanese National Railways to JR West at the privatisation of 1 April 1987. The station has a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track and is unattended; in fiscal 2019 it averaged just twelve passengers per day.
