History
Kawachi-Kosaka Station opened on 30 April 1914 as Kosaka Station (小阪駅) on the Osaka Electric Tramway. The station was renamed Daiki Kosaka Station (大軌小阪駅) in August 1928 and given its present name Kawachi-Kosaka on 15 March 1941; in the same year it was transferred to the Kansai Kyūkō Railway, which became part of Kintetsu in 1944. The current elevated station has two opposed side platforms with the station building beneath, and sits 1.6 rail kilometres east of the Nara Line's starting point at Fuse and 7.7 kilometres from Ōsaka Namba.
Notes
The area around the station is home to the headquarters campus of Kindai University (Kinki University) and to the Shiba Ryōtarō Memorial Hall.
