History
Kaminoma Station, at Ōaza Kaminoma, Mihama, Chita District, Aichi Prefecture, opened on 30 June 1974 as a station on the Nagoya Railroad Chita New Line. Seasonal staffing was discontinued on 1 April 1998, making it fully unstaffed; Tranpass became usable from 14 July 2007 and the manaca IC card from 11 February 2011. In the timetable revision of 18 March 2023, Track 2 was closed and the layout was changed from two opposed platforms serving two tracks to a single platform serving one track. It is an unstaffed station managed under a centralized station-management system, with Chita-Handa Station as its controlling station. Its station number is KC20.
Notes
The distance to the neighboring station, Fuki, is 5.8 km, spanning the Bessoike Signal Station, making it the longest inter-station distance on any Nagoya Railroad line.
