History
Kami-Gōra Station opened on 1 December 1921 with the inauguration of the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line, originally named Sōunkan Station. It assumed its present name in 1951. The unstaffed station has opposed side platforms either side of the single funicular track, 0.96 km from the Gōra terminus. Operation passed to Odakyu Hakone on 1 April 2024 as part of an Odakyu Group restructure of its Hakone-area businesses.
Notes
The station was called Sōunkan Station from its opening in 1921 until 1951, when it took its present name.
