Location

History

Iwatakiguchi Station opened on 31 July 1925 in what is today the city of Miyazu, Kyoto Prefecture, and is operated by the private railway company Willer Trains as part of the Kyoto Tango Railway network. The stop sits on the Miyazu Line, 32.8 km from the line's terminus at Nishi-Maizuru. Today the station consists of a single ground-level side platform serving a single bi-directional track, and it is unstaffed. Suzuhiko Shrine and National Route 176 lie nearby, and daily use remains modest, averaging 55 passengers in fiscal 2019.

Notes

Iwatakiguchi has remained an unstaffed halt with a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track.
