History

Haji Station opened on 1 July 1932 on the Inbi Line and lies 35.6 km from the terminus of the line. The stop is served only by local trains and has a single ground-level side platform with no station building, just a small shelter on the platform. It is unstaffed, and the station passed to JR West at the 1 April 1987 privatisation of Japanese National Railways. Japan National Route 53 runs through the surrounding area.
