History

Gokuraku Station opened on 25 December 2008 on the Akechi Line in the city of Ena, Gifu Prefecture, operated by the third-sector Akechi Railway. It stands 13.7 rail kilometres from the terminus of the line at Ena. The station building was renovated on 23 December 2019. The single side platform serves a single bi-directional track and the station is unstaffed.

Notes

The name Gokuraku is the Japanese word for "paradise". The station opened on 25 December 2008 as an unstaffed stop on the Akechi Railway's Akechi Line, with a single side platform serving one bi-directional track, and its station building was renovated on 23 December 2019.
