Location
History
Fudagi Stop sits in mixed-traffic running on the Toyohashi Railroad Azumada Main Line, with stop number 4, on the boundary of Fudagichō and Uo-machi in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. The stop has roofed, opposed-side safety-zone platforms set well apart from each other, with the Akaiwaguchi-bound platform in Uo-machi and the Ekimae-bound platform on the historic Tōkaidō (highway) side in Fudagichō. The stop lies at the centre of the former Yoshida-juku post-town, near the site of the old waki-honjin lodging.
Notes
From this stop east, departure-time timetables list only the sparse early-morning and late-night services explicitly, with everything else shown only as a running interval. Trams leaving Fudagi turn at the intersection just beyond the stop — Nishihatchō for Azumada-bound cars, Shinkawa for Ekimae-bound cars — so in both directions passengers hear a recorded announcement, "We will be turning right, so please take care" (Migi ni magarimasu kara go-chūi kudasai).
