History

Yoshiwara-honchō Station opened on 18 November 1949 as a station on the Gakunan Railway. On 1 April 2013 it became a station on Gakunan Dentetsu following a transfer of operations. It stands in what was once the central district of the former city of Yoshiwara, before that area became part of Fuji City, and the district remains dense with shops and housing. The station is a ground-level station with a single side platform serving one track; it is treated as unstaffed, but its ticket window operates on weekdays and Saturdays.

Notes

Despite being classified as unstaffed, it has the second-highest number of boardings and alightings among the Gakunan Line's ten stations, and its ticket window operates on weekdays and Saturdays.
