Location

History

Yariminai Station opened as a newly built station on the Japanese National Railways Obonai Line on 1 April 1960. It became a station of the Tazawako Line in the line reorganization of 20 October 1966 and passed to JR East at the privatisation of the national railway on 1 April 1987. It is located at Ōneda, Yariminai, Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, and is a ground-level station with a single side platform serving one track, with a waiting shelter on the platform. It is an unstaffed station managed by Ōmagari Station. Eki-net Q-ticket service was introduced from 1 October 2024. Akita Shinkansen trains pass through the station without stopping.
