Location

History

Yachiyo-Chūō Station opened on 27 April 1996 on the Tōyō Rapid Railway Line, which is run by the third-sector operator Tōyō Rapid Railway. The station lies 13.8 km from the terminus of the line at Nishi-Funabashi, in the city of Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture. It has two opposed elevated side platforms with the station building underneath, and Yachiyo City Hall stands nearby.

Notes

Yachiyo-Chūō opened only in 1996, yet in fiscal 2018 it was used by an average of 23,944 passengers a day.
