History

Toyoharu Station opened on 17 November 1929 on what is now the Tōbu Urban Park Line (formerly known as the Tōbu Noda Line). Located in the city of Kasukabe, Saitama, it is operated by the private Tōbu Railway and lies 12.2 km from the line's western terminus at Ōmiya. Two ground-level opposing side platforms serve the line's two tracks, with an elevated station building above them. On 17 March 2012 station numbering was introduced across the Tōbu network, and Toyoharu was designated TD-08.
