History

Tokyo International Cruise Terminal Station opened on 1 November 1995 as Funenokagakukan Station ("Museum of Maritime Science"), a stop on the Yurikamome automated guideway transit line. The elevated station, numbered U 08 and located in Aomi, Kōtō, Tokyo, has a single island platform serving two tracks. On 14 April 2006 a 17:06 Shinbashi-bound train derailed shortly after leaving the station after a parts failure, without casualties. The station was renamed to its present form on 16 March 2019.

Notes

The station was originally named Funenokagakukan Station after the nearby Museum of Maritime Science; it was renamed Tokyo International Cruise Terminal Station on 16 March 2019.
