History

Tōkyō Big Sight Station opened on 1 November 1995 as Kokusai-tenjijō-Seimon Station on the Yurikamome, the Tōkyō Waterfront New Transit Waterfront Line. It was renamed Tōkyō Big Sight Station on 16 March 2019. A station renovation was completed in March 2025. The elevated station has a single island platform serving two tracks, and its ticket gates connect directly by walkway to the second-floor entrance plaza of the Tōkyō International Exhibition Center (Tōkyō Big Sight), so the station is often crowded when the exhibition centre hosts events.

Notes

From its 1995 opening until 2019 the station was called Kokusai-Tenjijō-Seimon; the change to the current name, Tokyo Big Sight, came more than 23 years later, reflecting the fact that passengers had already settled into using the commercial facility's popular name.
