History
Tokuriki Kōdanmae Station opened on 9 January 1985, the day the Kitakyushu Monorail's Kokura Line began service. Located in Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu, it takes its name from the Tokuriki danchi, the public-housing estate along the line that it serves. The station is an elevated stop with two side platforms and two tracks, and carries station number 10. On 1 October 2015 it began accepting the mono SUGOCA contactless IC card. The area around the station is residential, taking in the UR Tokuriki estate along with local schools, banks and shops.
Notes
Tokuriki Kōdanmae takes its name from the Tokuriki danchi, the public-housing estate along the line beside the station, today managed by the UR Urban Renaissance Agency.
