History

Tokiwadaira Station, in the city of Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture, opened on 21 April 1955 on the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway as Kanegasaku Station (金ヶ作駅). It was renamed Tokiwadaira on 1 February 1960. The station is at ground level, with a single island platform serving two tracks and an elevated station building. On 1 April 2025 Keisei Electric Railway absorbed Shin-Keisei Railway, and the station became part of the Keisei Matsudo Line, its number changing to KS83 on the same date. The station name is officially written 常盤平, though the variant 常磐平 is frequently used in error.

Notes

Although officially written 常盤平, the station's name is frequently miswritten as 常磐平, with a visually near-identical kanji.
