History

Tenjin-no-Mori Station (HN58) is a Hankai Tramway Hankai Line tram stop in Nishinari-ku, Osaka. It opened on 1 December 1911. The stop passed successively to Nankai Railway in June 1915, Kinki Nippon Railway in the June 1944 wartime merger, Nankai Electric Railway in June 1947, and the present Hankai Tramway in December 1980. The stop's name comes from the Tenjin-no-Mori Tenmangū shrine immediately northwest of the station.
