Location
History
Takako Station opened on 1 July 1988 on the Abukuma Express Line in the city of Date, Fukushima. It sits 10.1 km from the line’s starting point at Fukushima, between Mukaisenoue and Kamihobara. The station has two elevated opposed side platforms, no station building, and is unattended. In fiscal 2015 it averaged 63 boarding passengers per day. The Takako “Hightown” housing estate lies nearby, as does Takako Lake, one of the Takako twenty scenic views.
Notes
Kameoka Hachimangū was originally founded near this site and is now located in Sendai.
