History

Takaido Station opened on 1 August 1933 on what is now the Keiō Inokashira Line, in Suginami, Tokyo. The original ground-level station was rebuilt as an elevated structure and reopened on 15 March 1972. Renovation of the Keio Retnade shopping centre below the station was completed in December 2006. Keiō introduced system-wide station numbering on 22 February 2013 and the stop was assigned the number IN12. The single elevated island platform serves two tracks. Only all-stations "Local" services call here; during daytime hours eight trains per hour stop in each direction.
