Location
History
Shin-Daiku-machi opened on 20 December 1934 on the same day as the Uma-machi – Hotarujaya extension of the Nagasaki Electric Tramway. It has two side platforms facing each other across the tracks in a street-running section. It is stop number 40 on the Hotarujaya Branch Line. On 8 July 1962 car 363 of the Type 360 class ran away from the Hotarujaya depot and struck car 365, which was standing at the stop, in an accident that killed or injured twelve people.
