History
Shin-Tsudanuma Station opened on 27 December 1947 as the starting point of the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway, slightly closer to JR Tsudanuma than the present site. It was relocated in 1953 onto a new cut-off line built so that trains could reach Keisei-Tsudanuma, and in 1961 a third station was opened back at the original location when the earlier route branching at Maebara was restored, the 1953 station being renamed Fujisakidai. In 1968 the route through Fujisakidai was abolished and the station itself was moved about 300 metres toward Keisei-Tsudanuma to its present, fourth site. A station building with an Itō-Yōkadō tenant followed in 1977 as part of the Tsudanuma north-exit redevelopment, and on 1 April 2025 operations passed to Keisei Electric Railway when Shin-Keisei was absorbed and the route became the Keisei Matsudo Line.
Notes
Shin-Tsudanuma Station has been relocated three times since it opened in 1947, reaching its fourth and present site in 1968.
