History

Shin-Nihombashi Station opened on 15 July 1972 as an underground station in Chūō, Tokyo. It is operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and is served by the Sōbu Line (Rapid). Its single underground island platform serves two tracks. Passengers can transfer on foot to the nearby Mitsukoshimae Station, which is served by the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and the Tokyo Metro Hanzōmon Line.
