History

Shin-Koga Station opened on 21 July 1935 on the Tōbu Nikkō Line, 20.6 kilometres from the line's starting point at Tōbu-Dōbutsu-Kōen. It is located in the city of Kazo, Saitama Prefecture, and is operated by the private railway operator Tōbu Railway. The station has two opposed side platforms serving two tracks, linked to the station building by a footbridge, and station numbering introduced across all Tōbu lines on 17 March 2012 designated it TN-05.
