Location

History

Senjuōhashi Station opened on 19 December 1931 on the Keisei Main Line in what is now Senju-Hashido in Adachi ward, the southernmost stop in the ward. A rebuild completed in October 1977 converted the original two side platforms to the present two-island, four-track layout, carried out for the start of through services to the then Narita Airport Station (today's Higashi-Narita Station) and for the widening of the Nikkō Kaidō (National Route 4), which passes beneath the elevated station. Express services were dropped in the October 2002 timetable revision, but rapid trains began stopping here in July 2010. Keisei-wide station numbering, introduced on 17 June 2010, assigned this stop the code KS05. In February 2014 a station-front plaza opened, followed by the completion of a refurbishment in April 2017.

Notes

A Toei bus stop also called "Senju-ōhashi" stands at the southern end of the Senju-ōhashi bridge, in Minami-Senju in Arakawa ward, a good distance from the station at the northern end.
