History
Sachiura Station is on the Yokohama Seaside Line's Kanazawa Seaside Line in Sachiura, Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama, and carries station number 6. It opened on 5 July 1989 with the start of service on the original Kanazawa Seaside Line between Shin-Sugita and Kanazawa-hakkei. The elevated single island platform serves two tracks, with the station building below. Ticket machines were renewed and brought into service on 21 March 2005, and from 1 April 2010 the rice wholesaler Mitsuhashi held naming rights for three years, during which the station carried the sub-name "Mitsuhashi-Rice-mae."
Notes
From April 2010 the station carried the official sub-name "Mitsuhashi-Rice-mae" for three years, the rice wholesaler Mitsuhashi — whose head office stands near the station — having bought the naming rights.
