History

Rokugōdote Station traces back to 1 February 1901, when three small stops opened on what is now the Keikyū Main Line — one whose name is not recorded, Rokugō and Nakamachi. The three were consolidated into Rokugōzutsumi Station on 1 October 1906, when the line moved onto a dedicated right of way; the station was renamed Rokugōdote at an unrecorded date before the war. It burned down in the Keihin air raid of 15 April 1945 and was rebuilt with two opposed side platforms on the Kamata side of the old embankment road. It was elevated between 1971 and 1972 during the replacement of the Rokugō River rail bridge and was moved closer to Keikyū Kawasaki; elevators to the platforms followed in 2003. Platform-edge doors on tracks 1 and 2 entered service on 21 February 2026. The station carries number KK19.

Notes

Rokugōdote is the southernmost railway station within Tokyo's 23 special wards.
