Location
History
Ōtabe Station opened on 1 May 1952 between Tatsuokajō and Nakagomi on the Japanese National Railways Koumi Line, in what is now the city of Saku, Nagano Prefecture. With the dissolution and privatisation of JNR on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East. The stop sits 64.1 kilometres from the line's terminus at Kobuchizawa and consists of a single ground-level side platform whose effective length is limited to two carriages. The station is unstaffed and has a waiting room.
