History
Ōe-Kōkōmae Station is a station established on 16 July 1988 in Ōe-chō Kanaya, Fukuchiyama, Kyoto Prefecture, when the Miyafuku Railway's Miyafuku Line opened. It subsequently passed through changes of third-sector operating company, being transferred to WILLER TRAINS on 1 April 2015, and is now a station on the Kyoto Tango Railway's Miyafuku Line. Its station number is F8. It is an elevated station with a single side platform on the west side, and because it lacks switches or absolute signals it is classified as a halt. It is unstaffed and has no station building, with stairs leading directly up to the platform. The local council for promoting rail use has given it the nickname "Motoise Gekū Station" after the nearby Toyouke Grand Shrine.
Notes
Ōe High School, for which the station is named, is not located in front of the station but a short distance to the east of it.
