Nishisen 16-jō Stop (SC09) is on the Sapporo Streetcar Yamahana-nishi Line in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, at the Fukuzumi-Sōen-dōri/Minami-16-jō-dōri intersection. It opened on 23 November 1931 as single-tracked Minami-16-jō Stop, was renamed Nishisen 16-jō on 24 March 1950, double-tracked on 5 October 1951, given an approach signal indicator in 1984, had its romanisation updated to Nishisen- on 1 April 2001 and was assigned the stop number SC09 on 1 April 2015. During the weekday morning rush some inner-loop services terminate here and turn back to start outer-loop services from the stop, using the crossover on the south side of the outer-loop platform.

The crossover on the south side of Nishisen 16-jō's outer-loop platform is used for the morning-rush turnback: the inner-loop car runs on past its own stop, pauses briefly on the main line, and then enters the crossover to begin the outer-loop run.
