History
Nakasu-dōri Station is a Kagoshima City Tram Tōsō Line tram stop in Kami-arata-chō, Kagoshima. It was opened on 1 October 1950 by the Kagoshima City Transportation Section (today the Kagoshima City Transportation Bureau). Only Route 2 uses the stop. The two side platforms can be crossed at any time the tram is not passing, but neither manual nor powered wheelchairs can be used because the platform width is below the regulation minimum. The stop is unstaffed and tickets are not sold on site. Among the features near the stop is the Nakasu-dōri / Akebono Overpass, which leads by way of the Takeoka Tunnel to the Kagoshima Interchange on the Kyūshū Expressway.
