History
Nakamura Nisseki Station opened on 1 April 1969 as a station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line, in 3-chōme, Michishitachō, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. It functions largely as the nearest station to the Japanese Red Cross Society Aichi Medical Center Nagoya Daiichi Hospital (Nakamura Nisseki), and an underground passage connecting directly to the hospital from the south ticket gate is open from 7:00 to 22:00. The "manaca" IC card came into use on 11 February 2011, and platform doors began operating on 5 October 2015. The station is numbered H05, an underground station with two opposed platforms serving two tracks, administered by the Higashiyama Line station office's Nagoya district station.
Notes
On entry records made with Tranpass-compatible cards, the card face shows "Nisseki" — an abbreviated form of the station name with "Nakamura" dropped.
